Problem

User wants to print to scale each time he uses a certain paper size.  When he selects a different paper size than the one he normally uses, the current scale does not change until he choses the "Maximize Print Size" icon in the MicroStation Print dialog box. How can you force the scale to be updated when changing paper sizes without having to choose the maximize option? 

Solution

Select: Workspace>Configuration>Printing>
MS_PLT_ENABLE_PRESERVE_SCALE = 0
MS_PLT_MAX_ON_NEW_AREA = 1
