Problem

Importing custom Luxology setting. How can an environment setting or rendering setting be customized and used in a workspace?

Solution

1. Rename the dgn with the custom setting to .dgnlib. i.e. custom.dgn to custom.dgnlib
2. Point the MS_DGNLIBLIST variable to the newly created dgnlib file

-Go to Workspace > Configuration
-Select Primary Search Path under "Category"
-Select DGN Library List, hit Select button and browse to the path of new dgnlib file.
-Select the dgnlib file

3. Go to $(_USTN_WORKSPACEROOT)System\dgnlibs\ folder
4. Open the Luxology_render.dgnlib
5. Go to Utilities > Render > Luxology pull down menu
6. Open the Setup dialog click on Environment Settings tool
7. Open settings list by clicking on "Show Setup List" button
8. Select settings style from other file that is now available in the settings list
9. Go to File>Import or right click and select Import from menu

This will activate the style and make it available in the dgnlib file.
The style will now be available in any file that is opened.
