Converting GCS from ED50-IGN.ES-UTM30 to ETRS89-UTM30N using the Spanishgrid R2009V9.gs gives wrong results using Ms V8i SS1 and SS2.
MicroStation SS3 08.11.09.357 solves this issue
Workaround:The workflow to be used is:1. Download R2009V9.gsb from Spanish National Geographic Instituteexample http://www.geo.euskadi.net/s69-geocont/en/contenidos/informacion/transformacion_datum_2009/en_17/transformacion.html2. Paste R2009V9.gsb in Spain folder in the directory C:\ProgramFiles\Bentley\MicroStation V8iSS3\MicroStation\GeoCoordinateData\Spain3. Inside folder GeoCoordinatesdata in MS SS3 open Ed50ToEtrf89.gdcwith notepad and verify the following lines are this way:#.\Spain\BALR2009.gsb.\Spain\R2009V9.gsb#.\Spain\sped2et-2005.gsbAlso the last line related to Fallback should be:Fallback=ERP50-SP-EST99
4. Open you dgn file and apply GCS ED50-IGN.ES-UTM305. Save changes6. Apply new GCS ETRS89-UTM30N using reprojection
