Problem

Unable to locate Excel template workbook.

An "Unable to locate Excel template workbook" error message is returned when attempting to create new .csv remapping file in the "File->Save As" dialog.

Solution

The Excel template "remaptemplate.xls" is delivered with MicroStation and is located by default in the "Workspace\system\data" folder.

This Error Message indicates this file has been moved or deleted.

The above file needs to be restored in its default location and can be copied from a working installation of MicroStation.
