Problem

User is getting the following message when they open the DWG file in AutoCAD:
'This DWG file was saved by a software application that was not developed or licenser by Autodesk. Use of this file with AutoCAD software may result in stability issues.'
or in AutoCAD 2009 the message reads:
'This DWG file was saved by an application that was not developed or licenser by Autodesk. Autodesk has not verified the application compatibility or integrity of this file.'

Product: MicroStation V8
Version: ANY
Area: DWG In/DWG Out, Problem ID#: 36555, GENERALINFORMATION

Solution

All the message is saying is that the file was worked on with a product that is not an Autodesk product. This message applies to any program
that is not an Autodesk product, not just MicroStation. If you used MicroStation (a non-Autodesk product) to work on your drawings, you will
get this message. The message also says "may result in stability issues" it does not say that it will, it only says that it may.

You can turn the message off if you would like.

In AutoCAD, at the command line, enter DWGCHECK and give it a value of 0.

Then the message will only appear if the drawing has a potential problem. Not because it was worked on with a non-Autodesk product.
