Reference level overrides do not display in sheetDescription:When toggling on the View Attributes in the sheet in which a reference is attached, the overrides for the attached reference do not show.Product: MicroStation V8iVersion: 08.11.07.443Area: Reference
Check the reference presentation settings. In MicroStation V8i, references can be attached using the Coincident, Coincident World option (with or without selecting a standard view), by selecting a named fence definition and by selecting a Saved View. When using the coincident, the coincident world option, or the named fence definition, the reference presentation does not inherit the view settings from the referenced file. In the Reference Presentation dialog, the Use View Flags option is not active. When using the Saved View option however, the resulting reference presentation has the Use View Flags option ON by default. As a result, the reference follows the view settings of the master file to display the levels. In order to have the level overrides of such a reference attachment displayed properly:method 1/- open the references window- select the reference to be processed- open its reference presentation dialog- switch OFF the option: Use View Flag option and click OK- the level overrides can now be switched ON/OFF using the sheet's View Attributes dialogmethod 2/- open the references window- select the reference to be processed- open its reference presentation dialog- keep the option: Use View Flag switched ON- toggle the option: Level Overrides ON/OFF and click OK- note that the Level Overrides are not affected by switching ON/OFF the sheet's View Attributes dialogTo properly see the overrides set in the file, it may be necessary to select all the levels in the Level Manager window and Update them
