Problem

Getting a 3D PDF with a grey layer on top using IPLOT -> File ->Export PDF , although master and reference files are 2D file.

Solution

One 2D reference file has set the Plot As 3D (PDF) check mark in reference manager, but it is not possible to switch OFF this check mark.

Workaround:
- Open the 2D reference file by itself with MicroStation
- Use File -> Export -> 3D to create a 3D file of this reference
- Open master file and switch OFF in reference manager the Plot As 3D (PDF) check mark for this reference file (now 3D)
- Open the 3D reference file by itself with MicroStation
- Use File -> Export -> 2D to create a 2D file of this reference
- Open master file and create a correct PDF using IPLOT -> File -> Export PDF
