Problem

In MicroStation V8i, I want to use the Bentley Driver HPGL2.PLTCFG.  When it creates the plot ready file I would also like for MicroStation to immediately send the plot directly to my plotter and keep the plot ready file.
 

Solution

The .JPG file shows changes made to the "Default Printer File Name" property. The output file name is created in the directory where the design file resides and named using the base name of the design file.  It also includes the .hpgl extension.

The other change was made in the "Programs" tab. I added a new "Program Command" which executes a "copy" command, using the MicroStation variable (MS_PLTOUT) to identify the plot ready file and then added the UNC path to the device. Please modify the UNC path accordingly to match the name of your printer.
