Problem

In the Print - Raster Options, how do you set "Print monochrome raster as-is" to always be turned on?

Solution

In the hpglrtl.pltcfg, under Raster Printing, set Ignore Color Rules for Monochrome Raster to True.

In the hpglrtl.plt, add /monoasis=1 to the raster_parameters line:

raster_parameters /dpi=300 /contrast=0 /brightness=0 /grayscale=0 /monoasis=1

Save the pltcfg or plt file and reload, then it should keep your Raster Option setting for Print Monochrome Raster As-Is.
