Problem

Tag appears incorrect in DWG. File specific issue and tag set specific issue.
Tag or attribute created in DWG files does not display in MicroStation V8i
Select Series 2. Tag set name was called "Layout1" indicating it was created in the layout or sheet model in the DWG file. Generally tag sets and definitions should be created in the default model or model space of DWG file.

1. Open DWG
2. Check tag display
3. Use element information tool to examine. In the "Contents" section element information states for Tag Set and Tag Name that "Tag set not found"

Solution

1. Open file in MicroStation V8i Select Series 3, if file has to be open in MicroStation V8i SS2:
2. Another option is to open file MicroStation V8i SS3
3. Go to Element>Tags>Define
4. In Tag Set dialog go to File>Export>Tag Library File
5. In MicroStation V8i SS2 follow steps 2 and 3
6. Go File>Import>Tag Library File, Import the tag set into file.
