Define the Key-in window have initial focus

      Applies To

      Product(s): MicroStation
      Version(s): V8 2004 Edition
      Environment:  N\A
      Area:  Settings
      Subarea:  N\A
Original Author: Bentley Technical Support Group

    Problem

After selecting a command, how can the Key-in window have initial focus?
When the user clicks a MicroStation command such as Place Cell, he wants
the focus to be in the Key-in window so that he can quickly type in a
    coordinate.

    Product: MicroStation V8 2004 Edition
    Version: 08.05.02.27
    Area: General

    Solution

If AccuDraw is not enabled and the preference: 'Auto-Focus Tool Settings
Window' is disabled, the key-in browser will have immediate focus.

If AccuDraw is enabled or disabled and the preference: 'Auto-Focus Tool
Settings Window' (which is the default setting) is enabled the key-in
browser will have focus when the Escape key on the keyboard id pressed
    once.

If AccuDraw is enabled and the preference: 'Auto-Focus Tool Settings
Window' is disabled, the key-in browser will have focus when the Escape
key on the keyboard is pressed twice.
