Problem

Fractions display differently when using the place note tool versus the dimension tools in MicroStation v8.

User needs the fractions to display in the place note tool like they do with the dimension tool. The dimension tool has them displayed in an over under and the place note tool is side by side. User is in the dwg workmode using the Acad Romans font.

Solution

This is due to AutoCAD not using Stacked fractions when they place their text. They use stacked fractions for dimensions but not for Text.

While working in MicroStation in DWG workmode to maintain dwg compatibility this is also applied. So this is an AutoCAD limitation.
