Parts of a (feature) solid are rendering with a different (or no) material.
Reason:
Each feature in a feature solid can have different symbology. Materials can be applied to a level / color combination. The feature(s) that is not rendering the correct material has a different color and / or level.
Solution:
Use "Change Feature Attribute" to change the feature symbology.
Note - May need to suppress the feature above to get to the feature(s)
in question.
Steps:
1. From Menubar, go to Tools > Feature Modeling > Feature Modeling Primary [Feature Modeling Primary Toolbox opens], pick "Feature Manager".
2. Select the feature solid [feature manager populates with the feature solid information]
3. Locate and Right-click on the feature that is not using the correct symbology and select "Suppress Feature > All above Feature [all features above the selected one will be suppressed and only show the unsuppressed features in the view] (<-this is needed if the feature does not show original geometry, such as a subtraction).
4. From Menubar, go to Tools > Feature Modeling > Modify Feature [Modify Feature Toolbox opens], pick "Change Feature Attributes".
5. Set desired symbology (specifically level and / or color).
6. Select the feature(s) and accept.
7. Right-click on top most feature in feature manager and select "Suppress Feature > All above Feature [all features will unsuppress].
