    Global origin is shifting

      Applies To

      Product(s): MicroStation
      Version(s): 08.01.00.00
      Environment:  N\A
      Area:  DGN
      Subarea:  Save
Original Author: Bentley Technical Support Group

    Problem

Global origin is shifting when saving the file from V8 to V7, but there
is no warning in the message center. However the message, Conversion
Warning: View Origin X, for View, Truncated.

    Product: MicroStation
    Version: V8
    Area: Save as V7

    Solution

What is happening is the global origin is off of the V7 design plane in
V8, though the elements are within the V7 design plane. Therefore, when
the file is saved to V7, the origin is changing.
