Which characters do not work in naming convention for DWG Dimension Styles and Text Styles.
What characters are restricted for use in naming convention for text and dimension styles in DWG workmode?
The character that are restricted from AutoCAD 2000 and beyond are: "<>/\\:;?*,=`\"\t",
The character restricted pre-AutoCAD 2000 are: "#!@%^&()+ .{}";
These characters when used will be omitted once the text or dimension style is used when placing text and/or dimensions.
These characters are not supported in AutoCAD and therefore will not be retained in the DWG workmode.
