Problem

Model name is not displayed in the title bar.
In the MicroStation versions before MicroStation V8i, the name of the file as well as the name of the open model is displayed in the application's title bar.
In V8i only the name of the file is displayed.

Solution

V8i allows to display different models of the same file in the opened views (Multi-Model Views).
So in View#1 you can see Model A, in View#2, you can see Model B etc.
This can be done via the View Setup options found at the bottom of the View Attributes window.

Therefore the name of the model is now visible in the title bar of each view.
The 2D/3D message in the application title bar will update as soon as you activate a view by clicking in it.
The little icon in the left hand corner of the view title bar also indicates whether a model or a sheet is displayed in that view.
