Problem

How to attach references and have their Boundaries display permanently

Solution

This can be done by setting MS_REF_DEFAULTSETTINGS to displayBoundary=1.

This setting will force the boundary display of references even when Hilite Mode is NOT set to "Boundaries" or "Both" in the reference dialog box and/or the "Boundary Display" setting in View attributes is turned Off.

**Note - This setting was added to the 2004 Edition of MicroStation.
