How to adjust color using a key-in rather than going through the dialogbox?Product: MicroStation Version: V8 and newerArea: Reference
This functionality is available in versions 08.05.01.25 and later. The key-in is:reference adjustcolors <(><<)>value>,<(><<)>saturation>,<(><<)>printadjustment>,<(><<)>valueAndSatForallColors>,<(><<)>hue> [references]The printadjustment, valueAndSatForAllColors and hue settings are alloptional.<(><<)>value> is the value adjustment, from 0 to 100<(><<)>saturation> is the saturation adjustment, fro m 0 to 100<(><<)>printadjustment> sets the "Print Adjusted Colors" toggle, andmust be either 0 or 1 (or leave it blank to avoid changing it)<(><<)>valueAndSatForAllColors> sets the radio button on the top of theValue and Saturation sliders. 1 makes all colors the same.<(><<)>hueSetting> sets the hue from 0 to 360. It only matters if <(><<)>valueAndSatForAllColors> is set to 1.[references] is t he file name or logical name of the reference you wantto affect. '*' or 'all' applies the change to all. If this argument isleft off and the reference dialog box up, it affects the referencesselected. Here is an example:To set all of the colors in an attached reference file to 50% grey.Select the file in the reference file dialog box, then use the key-in:reference adjustcolors 50,0 1That gives 50% value, 0% saturation (grey), and tells it to use thatvalue and saturation for all colors. In the case where saturation is 0,the hue doesn't matter, so that can be left off.
