Problem Description
The following message appears during the printer driver converting process, after trying to open a old style jpeg.plt Printer Driver :
The printer driver configuration file “c:\Temp\jpeg.plt” cannot be opened
MicroStation message Center
An exception occurred populating the printer driver configuration ECInstance
18 is greater than the maximum value of 2
Steps to Resolve
The problem was solved by uncommented the following line in the old style printer driver configuration file jpeg.plt using a semicolon
;raster_compression/format=18/methods=(0)
