Export KML in Cartesian coordinates
A user questioning if it is possible to export a KML file in Cartesian coordinates rather than in lat/long. They say they would like to use an ‘overlay kml’ function in www.onemap.sg.
Is it possible to export a KML without it using lat/long data? Is this something Google controls as that is what their input is looking for?
Google Earth only accepts coordinates in WGS84 - to work well with the utility on www.onemap.sg, you would need to define your geometry in MicroStation as being in the displayed region, either with a GCS or using KML placemarks.
