Problem

Hatch covers element edges
In 3D file the hatch / pattern / filling covers the edges of the surrounding element.
How can I bring the element edges to the front?

Solution

Set variable MS_LEGACYDRAWORDER = 1
Select the element(s) which should be displayed in front
Select "Edit" menu > "Bring to front"
This is only applicable in Version XM.
In V8i the variable MS_LEGACYDRAWORDER has been replaced by "Settings"
menu > Display Styles > Display "Wireframe" > "Use file order for
display"
