"Display color depth is not sufficient. Must be at least 24 bits or you may encounter display problems."
Appears when starting MicroStation. However, user's display settings are set higher than 24 (typically 32).
This problem occurs because MicroStation is not receiving the correct information from the OS and Graphics Card Driver. In this case of an NVIDIA card, you must go to the NVIDIA card's settings, and add MicroStation to the list of applications that should be queried by NVIDIA for graphic display settings. Once this has been done, the error message will no longer appear.This is found in the NVIDIA Control Panel
