How to
Scale an image
Fixed Aspect Ratio (Proportional)
(e.g. Scaling x-direction will also scale y-direction proportionally to maintain the aspect ratio)
Unfixed Aspect Ratio (Disproportionate)
(e.g. Scale in x-direction without scaling in y-direction)
Option 1: Edit HandlesSelect the imageSelect an edit handleBy default, the image will scale with a fixed aspect ratioOptional: Press [Alt] to unfix the aspect ratioClick new position of edit handle to resizeNote: This method will work if the image's aspect ratio is set to fixed in the Geometry section of the Element Information dialog. This method does not change the "Aspect Ratio Fixed" property for the image.
Option 2: Element Information DialogSelect the imageOpen the Element Information dialogExpand the Geometry sectionSpecify if you want the "Aspect Ratio Fixed"Enter the scale factor for the axis you want to scale the image about
Option 3a: Raster Manager – Active Scale MethodNote: Images pasted into the model may not appear in the Raster ManagerOpen Raster Manager (File > Raster Manager)Select the raster to resizeSelect the Scale iconIn the tool settings dialog, select Active ScaleFor Fixed Aspect Ratio: Toggle the lock icon to appear unlockedFor Unfixed Aspect Ratio: Toggle the lock icon to appear unlockedSpecify the scale by entering a factor in the Scale input boxEnter a data point at the same location, whatever the scaleAll views update to reflect your scale adjustments
