How to change and update dimensions with dimension style of “Style (none)” to use a dimension style setting of required dimension parameters using dgnlib.

    Background

In an existing dgnlib file, dimensions were placed previously using an unnamed style, i.e “Dimension Styles: Style:(none)”.   It is now required to change and update some existing dimension in the file with defined dimension settings of fonts and units, etc.

    Steps to Accomplish

    1. In the .dgnlib file, go to Element menu and select Dimension Styles.
    2. Set up all the dimension parameters as required and save this new dimension style.
    3. In the workspace configuration , set MS_DGNLIBLIST to select the desired .dgnlib file.
    4. In the existing working dgn files, select the dimensions that need to be changed.
    5. Using the tool “Change Dimension”, in the setting dialog box, select the new dimension style.
