Problem

It is not possible to create a vector based PDF file using the MicroStation pdf.pltcfg printer driver, when a certain 3D drawing file is loaded. The drawing forced always the Rasterized setting in the MicroStation print dialog box.

Solution

Part of the 3D drawing was a point cloud (*.pod) which always force the Rasterized setting in the print dialog box. It was possible to create a vector based (non rasterized) PDF file after the point cloud was remove from the drawing.
