Placing a single line creates three entities in the same location

Problem Description

After I placed a single line in the design file*, it became 3 entities in the selection set.

Note : *this design file was found to have 2 self-referenced attachments.

Open the References dialog box.
Selecting the 2 references, turn OFF the "Locate" option. This is set ON by default.
