MicroStation CONNECT does not install as a different Beta version was found.
When trying to uninstall the Beta version this process also fails.
1. In order to uninstall the Beta version we need first to uninstall the CONNECTION Client from Control Panel\Programs and Features.
2. After uninstalling CONNECTION Client uninstall MicroStation CONNECT Beta version
3. Install MicroStation CONNECT 10.00.00.25
In the event that MicroStation CONNECT Beta version do not uninstall try to do a repair from Control Panel\Programs and features and then try again.
Cleaning the registry
Note: The steps here below should be only followed by IT specialists and with the approval of your IT department.
If you still experience the beta error, please delete this registry key: “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Bentley\BundleCustomRelationShip”
if all of the above does not solve the problem please contact Technical Support an provide the exception logs for review (by default on the temp folder)
Problems caused due to language pack
Apologies for not replying to you earlier but I just saw your post in one of my wiki articles, for some reason I am not getting notification of this comments and I need to review them manually.
Are you still having problems with the installation? If so, I will create a SR for you so you can send us the exception logs created in the temp file for review and if it is possible a screen shot of the error.
I am having this problem on a clean install of Windows 10 (no previous beta version installed). It appears not to get beyond CONNECTION Client install before the install fails with a log file.
