How to temporarily change the display hilite color of a nested reference attachment.
With multiple reference attachments in a design it is sometimes useful to temporarily change the display color of a specific nested reference attachment to visually locate it within a design.
Set a hilite color to be used if the existing hilite color is not appropriate. To do this go to the menu item Settings > Design File. Select 'Color' under the heading 'Catergories' and set the 'Element Highlight Color' as required.
Open the 'References' dialog and expand the Hierarchy of reference attachments on the left hand side to locate and select the reference where the nested reference is attached.
On the right hand side of the 'References' dialog select the required nested reference.
On the ' References ' dialog change the 'Hilite Mode:' to 'Hilite'. The elements in the selected reference (Step 3) will now display with the hilite color.
Tip: If you wish more than one reference attachment to be hilited, select multiple references by holding the CTRL key down when selecting the references in the 'References' dialog.
Don't forget to change the 'Hilite Mode:' back if no longer required.
