Problem

In a design file, filled and other types of elements have been placed in one particular level. When it is printed out to a PDF file these filled elements have been separated and were found to be placed in on new level named "Images" in the PDF file. The rest of the elements were intact and stayed at the correct level where they were originally placed. This only seems to occur within MicroStation CONNECT Edition (Update 2) and V8i SELECTseries 4 versions.

How can this extra level "Images" be removed in the PDF output?

Solution

"Enable Merging of Background Rasters" to "False" under Base Properties->Advanced in the pdf.pltcfg
