How to force the the switch ' Rasterized ' to be on in the print dialog when using pdf.pltcfg plot configuration file.
Background
By default once the 'Rasterized' switch is set in the Print dialog it should remain selected the next time used, but the 'Rasterized' switch can also be controlled when loading the plot configuration file ( *.pltcfg ) thus reducing the need for the designer to remember to set this prior to producing printed output.
Steps to Accomplish
- Open the Print Dialog
- Select the required pltcfg that you wish to edit (pdf.pltcfg)
- Select File > Edit Print Driver Configuration.
- In the Print Driver Configuration Dialog select the Base Properties Tab and Expand the ‘ General ‘ section
- Locate the line “ Default Output Mode “ and select the words “ No Preference “ to expand the list of available Options
- Select “ Force Rasterized “
- Select File > Save to save the *.pltcfg
- On the print Dialog select File > Reload Print Driver Configuration to see the change.
