    Problem

    How to copy and paste MicroStation drawing objects from a dgn file into Microsoft Excel

    Solution

    1) From the dgn file, set view of the desired elements

    2) Key in: OLESERVE VIEWCOPY , then select view

               Or OLESERVE VIEWCOPY n ……where "n" is view number 1 or 2 …(e,g key in: OLESERVE VIEWCOPY 1)

    3) Next, open Microsoft Excel program , right click and Paste special, > Paste >MicroStation View Object
