Problem

Does deployment image have to be created on the same OS as it will be installed? e.g. deployment image will be created on Windows 7 and after MS should be installed on Win 10.

Solution

Deployment Image does not have to be created on the same operation system. As far as both operation systems are supported, there is no problem to create the deployment image on a different OS as it will be installed.
