Open the References dialog
Select the Reference(s) to be affected and in the ‘Presentation’ column, select the Presentation Style
Turn on the ‘Use View Flags’ toggle
Turn off the ‘Fill’ option (Toggle others as required)
Select OK
The view should be updated with the Reference no longer displaying filled elements and can then be printed.
Option 2 Use a Pen Table to Re-symbolize the Filled elements in the Reference(s)
Open the Print dialog
From the Print dialog create a new Pen Table (Reymbolization > New Pen Table) or select existing one for edit.
From the Element Selection Criteria tab, select ‘Files’ to open the Identify Files dialog
Identify the Reference(s) to be affected using the ‘Select’ option.
(In this instance the Reference in Slot 1 – See Help and wiki link below for further options)
From the Element Selection Criteria tab, select the ‘Fill Color’ and choose the color(s) that are not to be plotted or select ‘All’ and select OK.
From the Element Output Actions tab, select ‘Do Not Plot’
On the Modify Pen Table dialog select File > Save and close the dialog.
At this point the new Pen Table is automatically attached to the Print Dialog, but the Print dialogs preview may need to be refreshed to verify the changes prior to printing
