Sign up now for the Bentley MicroStation Accreditation for Civil Designers: Professional program.

Bentley MicroStation Professional Accreditation for Civil Designers Offering

This program is designed for any MicroStation professional seeking an official recognition of their Bentley MicroStation skills.

The accreditation has been designed to test your knowledge and use of fundamental CAD concepts and basic MicroStation usage in a 2D, civil-oriented, plans-production workflow.

Details of the skills covered within this accreditation are provided below.

To achieve the accreditation participants will need to complete project tasks that demonstrate their skills and abilities using a provided example Civil Project. Within this program, Bentley is emphasizing best practices and skills for MicroStation. If you require further training, additional training content is available on the Bentley LEARN server. No additional software (beyond MicroStation) is required to complete this program.

    Advance your Skills and Career

The Bentley MicroStation Professional Accreditation Program is an official credential from Bentley Systems, Inc. that verifies you have the essential MicroStation software skills and workflows to be a productive asset to your employer.

By attending the accreditation course and completing a hands-on design project, you will have demonstrated the skills and knowledge that will make you stand out from the competition and enable you to advance your career to the next level.

After you have satisfactorily completed the accreditation, you will receive the official Bentley Accredited badging.

    Benefits of the Program

By gaining this accreditation, participants will:

    • Improve their productivity by learning and applying Bentley recommended best practices and workflows to their projects.
    • Improve their knowledge of the features and functions within the software that can be used on a day-to-day basis.
    • Ensure that they are up to date within the latest MicroStation functionality.
    • Be able to add the accreditation credential to their resume and professional profiles to showcase their expertise for use with AEC projects.

In addition, companies whose participants gain this accreditation will be able to:

    • Demonstrate that their project teams and employees possess the skills necessary to be competitive in the AEC industry.
    • Showcase their employee credentials to support future project bids and ensure compliance with client requirements.

     Program Requirements

To complete the accreditation program, the following program requirements must be met:

    • A minimum of 40 hours of design experience utilizing the MicroStation CONNECT Edition.
    • Completion of a signed accreditation program Legal Agreement.
    • Take/review (as needed) any recommended course(s) as detailed within the program.
    • Participants must take the required accreditation course(s).
    • Complete and submit the Accreditation project for Bentley review.

For your project to be assessed and to obtain accreditation, participants must submit their completed project within 6 weeks of starting the Professional Accreditation.

Your project submission will be reviewed by a Bentley instructor. If your submission meets the standards required for approval, the Professional Accreditation badging is awarded.

If your project submittal does not meet completion requirements, the participant can correct and resubmit their project within 2 weeks. If a project fails to meet the required standards after this time, reattempts may be permitted at the discretion of the instructor and may require additional training.
