MicroStation Accreditation is designed to assist MicroStation users in validating and verifying their expert skills in MicroStation.
Accreditation is the official endorsement from Bentley Systems that verifies learners have the essential skills in the latest Bentley applications to be productive asset to their employer.
Bentley’s MicroStation Accreditation program is available on two levels. Earn one or both.
Bentley MicroStation User Accreditation
User Accreditation is designed to test your knowledge and use of MicroStation through a series of assessment questions. These questions cover a wide range of commands and skills and include:
- Basic Concepts
- File Creation
- View Manipulation
- Accurate Geometry Creation
- Geometry Manipulation/Modification
- Use of Annotation, and Cells
- Reference Files
- Sheet Creation
- Sheet Indexing
- Printing
To achieve the MicroStation User Accreditation users will need to complete and successfully pass the online self-assessment with a proficiency of greater than 75%.
Bentley MicroStation Professional Accreditation
Professional Accreditation is designed to test your knowledge and use of fundamental CAD concepts and basic MicroStation usage in a 2D, civil-oriented, plans-production workflow. To achieve the accreditation, participants will need to complete project tasks that demonstrate their skills and abilities using a provided example civil project. Within this program, Bentley is emphasizing best practices and skills for MicroStation.
As a pre-requisite, users should have design experience in utilizing MicroStation CONNECT Edition for at least 40 hours.
Both accreditation programs are available to access on the Bentley LEARNserver now. Users can review the available OnDemand learning paths and follow the instructions provided to enroll in the program.
Keep in mind that there is no cost associated with either program and they are available to all users as a complimentary benefit of a SELECT/ELS/E365 subscription.
By gaining either level of accreditation, participants will improve their knowledge of the features and functions within the software that can be used on a day-to-day basis. They will be able to ensure that they are up to date with the latest MicroStation functionality.
