MicroStation CONNECT Edition Installation From Downloaded Executable
Having obtained the MicroStation CONNECT Installation software executable (*.exe) required version, for most users simply running the *.exe will be fine and the user can follow the prompts to Install the application.
For other users they may run into problems here are some areas for review.
Check your connected to the Internet (If problems in this area consider creating a Deployment Image on a machine that does have Internet access)
Temporarily Disable any Anti-Virus protection prior to Install (Remembering to reenable following successful install)
Ensure you have Permission to install
Should you encounter problems during install and the above has not helped, please contact your Site Administrator in the first instance. If requiring further assistance collate the Installation logs and raise a Service Request with Bentley (See link below)
