Slow opening of MicroStation after opening a very big file (e.g. an IFC file)

Problem

Opening MicroStation after previously opening of a very big file (e.g. an IFC file) takes longer than normal.

Solution

For large files that have been opened in the past, and are no longer in use, when starting MicroStation CONNECT Edition, right-click on the file that is no longer in use in the Recent Files list and then select: "Remove from List". After this operation, the file will disappear from the list and MicroStation will open quickly.
