Users get the following message when opening MicroStation Connect Edition

Solution

IT created image that did not have Write access to the following files.

Write access was provided to the following files to fix the issue.
C:\ProgramData\Bentley\MicroStation CONNECT Edition\Configuration\ConfigurationSetup.cfg
%localappdata%\Bentley\MicroStation\10.0.0\prefs\cache.ucf

 

MicroStation Connect Edition requires Read/Write access to the following folders.
%temp%\Bentley\MicroStation\10.0.0\
%localappdata%\Bentley\MicroStation\10.0.0\
C:\Program Files\Bentley\
C:\ProgramData\Bentley\
C:\Users\{UserName}\AppData\Local\Bentley\
C:\Users\{UserName}\AppData\Local\Temp\Bentley\
C:\Users\{UserName}\AppData\Local\Bentley\
