Is MicroStation compatible with RFA file format?

Solution

Yes, you can peform the following with RFA files in MicroStation:
- Place them as Parametric Cells
- Import them into the active file
- Import them as SmartSolids into the active file
- Attach them as a reference
- Open them in read-only mode

The RFA file extension is associated with Autodesk Revit Architecture. A Revit model is based on a compilation of items called families. An RFA file contains such finished family data and is inserted similar to a cell (or block).
