Microstation (SELECT Series 3) Update 1 (08.11.09.357) - Issue with localised versions TN

Overview

The installation of the localised MicroStation (SELECT Series 3) Update 1 (08.11.09.357) over a pre-existing version of Microstation (SELECT Series) may cause a "mdl loader“ error message when launching the application.

This may affect all supported Operating Systems in different languages.

Symptoms:

After upgrading an existing installation of localised Microstation (SELECT Series 3) to Microstation (SELECT Series 3) Update 1 (08.11.09.357) , a “mdl loader” (listing missing .dll or .mdl files) error message is displayed at application start-up.

Workaround:

Completely uninstall all Microstation (SELECT Series) installations and perform a new, clean installation of Microstation (Select Series 3) Update 1.

Additional Notes:

We have removed the affected localized releases of Microstation (Select Series 3) Update 1 (08.11.09.357) from our download servers.

We are working on releasing a new version of Microstation (SELECT Series 3) Update 1 (08.11.09.366) with a fix for this issue.

If you didn’t experience any installation issues with Microstation (Select Series 3) Update 1 (08.11.09.357) there is no need to install 08.11.09.366.
