Problem
Attempting to save DGN file with a raster attachment, this does not appear in DWG.
Solution
Verify If the raster file format is supported by DWG Workmode per the documentation:
Supported Raster Image File Type in DWG Workmode
If the raster image is not supported in base AutoCAD, therefore the image will be dropped from the DWG file that is created when saving the DGN.
If you attempt to attach this format raster file in DWG workmode a warning is displayed that this is not supported in the DWG workmode to prevent incompatibility with AutoCAD.
Is there any way to save a DGN file with an unsupported raster file attached to DWG and keep the raster file intact?
If you need to export the DGN to DWG, you will need to convert the raster attachments to a supported format.
The Raster Conversion tool (Raster Manager > File > Batch Conversion) can be used for this purpose.
