Problem

I am trying to import a PDF into MicroStation. The text is coming up as MicroStation elements and not as editable text.

Solution

Define MS_PDFVEC_SHOW_HIDDENTEXT and set the value to 1 in the Configuration Variables dialog. This is useful for PDF files created in MicroStation when imported as vector.
