Problem

MicroStation Quits Immediately on Launch

Solution

Note: Kindly contact your Antivirus vendor and request for details on threats, security issues reported on Bentley Products.
          Share the data by logging a Service Request so our Support team can review them.
          Do also share the Event logs - check video.

Whitelisting the known files/folders in the antivirus software had no impact on the issue. Check Wiki

Cautionary workaround:

• While renaming "hmpalert.dll" to "hmpalert.original" enables the application to start, it might also bypass security measures within the program. Further investigation is recommended.

• Some Users have confirmed adding the following application path via Exclusion Type “Exploit Mitigation (Windows)”. Check link
