    Saving level display states

    Background

Need the ability to save on/off level display for future use.

    Steps to Accomplish

    1. Select desired view window

    2. Go Settings>Level>Display pull-down menu

    3. Change level display setting to View Display. View display setting allows changes in the level display affect the chosen view in the active mode.

    4. Select from views 1-8 and turn on and off desired levels in current view

    5. Go to Utilities>Saved View

    6. Create new saved view

    7. Name saved view

    8. Click inside desired source view window to save

The saved level display states are view specific (not global level display) and are copied from the source view window that was used to create the saved view. The saved view can be applied to a destination view windows applying the level display states:

    1. Select Utilities > Saved Views pull-down menu
      or
From any view window's control menu, select View Save/Recall.
      or
In the Primary Tools toolbox, click Saved View.
      or
If you are using the default function key menu, press
      <F6>.The Saved Views dialog opens.
    2. In the saved views list box, select the desired saved view and select the
      Apply Saved View tool.
      or
In the saved views list box, double-click on the desired saved view.
      or
In the saved views list box, right-click on the desired saved view and select Apply from the pop-up menu.
The Apply Saved Views tool settings window opens.

    3.
Make the required settings in the Apply Saved Views tool settings window and enter a data point in the view window

This will apply the desired level state.
