Problem Description

MicroStation or PowerDraft have been uninstalled from the computer using the Control Panel > Programs and Features tool but the programmes were not removed. Desktop shortcut icon remains and the programmes still open and work on the computer.

Steps to Resolve

1. The programmes can be uninstalled using the .msi file

2. By default, the standard locating for this file is C:\BentleyDownloads\.........

3. Double click the MicroStation.msi or PowerDraft.msi

4. The Setup Wizard starts, click on Next

5. Three options should be listed, Change, Repair and Remove

6. Choose Remove and then select Next

7. The programme should uninstall, select Finish to complete
