How and what format is required to import terrain model in mine cycle
Good day
Please can you advise which MineCycle Application you are trying to import a terrain model into?
Regards
Sonya
The common file types you can import into MineCycle Material Handling are .tin, .dtm and xml
Thank you Sonya for your kind reply. Currently I am using MCMH version V8I. I am succeeded to import terrain model in to my original model. Can you please share more about use of ISM for connection between MCMH to Bentley Prostructure?
Thanks
Kanti
Hi Kanti,
The models that represent a structural buildings within MCMH are created from a wizard that incorporates, both Civil (base) and Structural elements, although the beams are sized, this data provides more to represent the indented structure and not for design analysis.
MCMH is used primarily for layouts that can be easily manipulated to prepare for multiple iterations so that your best ideas are managed and saved. This to ensure your intended designs prepared in the feasibility phase of your project are always available to refer back to when progressing
This said though, we are able to extract data from the models and save this data in an external spreadsheet so it may be used for other purposes if required (This from your 'Item' browser)
