I am trying to model the following situation where the red arrows indicate the movement I want entities to follow.
The red entities are to go around that box while green entities are able to access the box. In other words, there is no CAD lines blocking access... rather, its a waiting zone that I want inaccessible to certain entities.
I utilized route guides to function as obstacles that block the red entities. For most entities, this works well however I always get one or two entities per group that essentially glitch and just hover/erratically move around in circles/back and forth (the blue entity represents this glitch).
Is there a better way to make this area inaccessible to a portion of entities?
Hi Dilip,
1.Please check the Route Guides shape first, make sure the Route Guide lines already covered the Waiting Zone area without gap and the arrows setup are correct like the picture below.
2.Some entities got confused with the accessible area calculation, Go to Edit Route Guides parameters and select "Function as an Obstacle" to make Route Guide effect to entities as Obstacle and go to "Entity Filter" tab to select the Red entities for the filter, this should fix the confusing behavior.
Feel free to feedback if the problem still remains.

Saton
Hi Saton,
My route guide is as drawn with no gap and the arrows point outwards. It is also functioning as an obstacle. I am using the entity filter to filter only red entities.
Unfortunately, I still get this error/glitch. Every group of entities that walks around this zone, there will be one or two that get stuck and starting moving in circles as shown in the above image.
This kind of irregular habit, Entities should now calculate Route Guide as an obstacle.
I have another workaround solution by placing Drift Zone, along the Route Guide side, change direction to 270 degrees and filter Red entities.
