If your organization uses a floating (concurrent) license, which is shared across multiple users in your organization, you should connect the license manager on your computer to the license server, where the license is activated.
Solution
1. Open license manager from Windows Search.
2. If there is not an already existing license for your computer, the license manager will prompt to set-up one. Select Connect to a license server. If you are not prompted, go to Menu >> License Servers.
3. Enter the name or IP address of the license server, where the floating license is activated. Leave the default port 5053 and click Save.
4. If the license manager is successful in connecting to the license server, then it should list the licenses available on the server.
