Mass property input in custom sections - Multiframe

Starting with that version mass comes from the material, not from the section (section/geometry are now independent of materials) Add the custom shape and then once you have applied the shape to a member, use the Member Material command to choose a material. The Self Weight load will then be calculated correctly from the product of the section shape area, member length and material density.

As my sections are not made of a single material, I can tailor the density (of the created material) so I have the correct mass (kg/m) but can you check that mass somewhere on the software ?

It was easier and safer for me to input the mass/meter before so I'm looking at a tool that could help me check that in Multiframe.

In that case I would recommend either a)defining a maerial which is has the properties you need or b) using ShapeEditor to define your multi-material section
