Slaming force_MOSES

Please let me know slam force in Moses how to complute and which location of this force, in MOses, it tell at point you put innitial, but not coorect.

In my opinion, slam force in MOses, still not satisfy what user want.

  • MOSES has many options for calculating and reporting on slamming. This can be done in the time domain by computing the
    derivative of the added mass or in the frequency domain using a 0.5*rho*v^2 approach. If you search the MOSES Reference manual for "slam" you will find the relevant functions. There is a whole section on beam fatigue due to slamming. There is a lot of user control over slamming coefficients and slamming forces can be reported from the BODY_FORCE command.
